ASTON LIBRARY NEWS–
We will have a holiday card-making class with Ms. Mary. The class for adults will be Tuesday, December 3rd at 6PM. The class for teens will be Wednesday, December 4th at 6PM. All materials provided.
Join the Aston Library Book Club Thursday December 12th at 1PM to discuss “The River at Night”. The club meets each month to discuss a book chosen by the group.
Kids (and adults) can view Ron Vance’s remarkable collection of antique toy trains in our display case through the holidays.
Storytime! Your young child can learn basic literacy skills while having fun! The Aston Public Library offers story times every week, open to everyone! Join Ms. Debbie for toddler time (ages 2-3) on Tuesdays at 10:30, infant time (up to 24 months) on Wednesdays at 10:30, and preschool time (ages 3-5) on Thursdays at 10:30!
Your child can enter our December coloring contest! Pick up an entry form at the library service desk.

Rabiya Bower, RD, LDN and regional nutritionist for GIANT Food Stores will visit the library on Monday, November 18th at 11:00 am to inform patrons about inflammation, foods that can trigger it and how to design a diet to alleviate it. Recipes and samples of inflammation-fighting foods will be provided!

Bingo Saturday!
This Saturday September 21st at 6PM we will have the Friends of the Library cash prize bingo again at $25 admission. Doors open at 4:30. Be there!

Your child can gain confidence by reading to a dog or other pet! “Read to Pet Pals ” is back at our Library on Thursdays starting September 19th at 6:30 pm . Children of any reading level are invited to read to animals, and get some snuggling from the animals while they’re at it.
Saturday September 21st from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM the Friends of the Aston Public Library will present Fall Bingo! Doors open at 4:30 PM. Admission is $25. All prizes will be in cash! Food and refreshments will be sold as well as bingo supplies. There will also be special raffles! All proceeds benefit the library! There will also be special games, food, and bingo supplies sold.

Your child can gain familiarity with orchestra instruments when the Delco Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo visits Saturday September 21st at 11AM. The players will show the kids a wide variety of instruments and then demonstrate them in action by playing several pieces.
