The Media Film Festival will visit the library on Monday January 13th at 11AM.  They will be showing a “best of” collection of short films shown at their festival over the years.

Thanks to the Ethel Clark Foundation and their Chair Jack Holefelder for their grant boosting this year’s budget!  We were able to keep our children’s area fresh with new items including toys and a new rug, provide new electronics for patrons to borrow, offer new programs and update the tools used by staff thanks to this grant!

Join the Aston Library Book Club Thursday January 9th at 1PM to discuss ” Defending Jacob “.  The club meets each month to discuss a book chosen by the group.

Storytime!  Your young child can learn basic literacy skills while having fun!  The Aston Public Library offers story times every week, open to everyone! Join Ms. Debbie for toddler time (ages 2-3) on Tuesdays at 10:30, infant time (up to 24 months) on Wednesdays at 10:30, and preschool time (ages 3-5) on Thursdays at 10:30!
Your child can enter our January coloring contest!  Pick up an entry form at the library service desk.
The Kids Can Build Club is at the Library on Tuesdays at 4PM  !  Your child can learn to build things using the library’s Lego collection and other materials as well!   All ages are welcome.
Need help with an e-book reader, laptop or tablet computer?  Stop by for our drop-in help time on Friday mornings.  10AM is the time for ebook readers.  11AM is the time for laptops and tablets.
Join our Mah Jongg group!  Learn to play the American version of Mah Jongg on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at the Library.  Game pieces are provided.
On Monday January 27th at 11AM, the Movie Group will be viewing and discussing the movie “Judy “.  There will be a free light lunch provided.
Do you want to be an artist? Email debbie@astonlibrary.org and she will put you on the list for our regular Adult Painting Classes.  We have them at least once every month.
Stop by Tuesdays at 11AM to learn the art of Crochet with our diverse group with many levels of experience.   Stop by Thursdays at 6PM to participate in a wide variety of crafts with an even more diverse group.
