Last year everyone said High Fructose Corn Syrup is poison but someone on the news said it’s the same thing as table sugar. Diet soda or regular? Coffee or green tea? Whole grain or no grain?

It seems every couple of months there is a new study or new expert championing the next holy grail of health. Come find out what foods to avoid, which ones to consume, the best times to consume them, and how to decipher a food industry that is “selling health” at the expense of your own.

When is chiropractic the right choice for me?

The rebirth of chiropractic happened in 1895 in Davenport, IA. Prior to that however, chiropractic under the name “bone setting” existed for well over 2000 years dating back to ancient Greece, Egypt, India, China, and middle-ages Europe and beyond. Obviously the methods of examination and treatment have changed, but the philosophy is still the same: gentle adjusting of the joints of the body (usually spine) to treat common ailments. Conditions that benefit from chiropractic care are neck pain, headaches, mid back pain, shoulder pain and stiffness, jaw pain (TMJ), low back pain, fibromyalgia, fatigue, and anxiety.
