August Library News

The Library building will remain closed until at least September 1 due to the Coronavirus situation.  Check at or call 610-494-5877 to see our latest status.  Mask wearing and social distancing will be strictly required when the library does open.

However, curbside pickup of requested materials is available NOW!  To place requests, use the catalog at or call us at 610-494-5877. You may request materials from all 26 Delco libraries and the inter-library delivery will bring them here. You will be emailed when a requested item is ready for pickup.

Library staff will be available for CURBSIDE PICKUP of ready items during these hours in August-

(Closed Sunday and Monday)
Tuesday 2-8PM
Wednesday 2-8PM
Thursday 10AM-12PM and 1PM-5PM
Friday 11AM-4PM
Saturday 10AM-12PM

When picking up available items, please call the library (610-494-5877, option 0) from our parking lot and we will arrange contact-free pickup.

We will still be encouraging and supporting your child’s summer reading this year!  You can get a log to track your child’s reading by emailing .  You can also enter the County’s online program and take challenges at .  Give us a call at 610-494-5877 to get your child’s assigned summer reading books too!

Storytime is continuing online at our Facebook page – .  Tuesday at 10:30 is Toddler Storytime, Wednesday at 10:30 is Infant Storytime, Thursday at 10:30 is Preschool Storytime.

You can access books for your Kindle, Nook, or other e-book reader with your library card! Go to to see what is available! Download the “Libby” App to your phone or tablet to enjoy the materials.

Go to, scroll down and look at the links on the right side of the page for great resources when the library is not open!  Use Ask Here PA to get help from a librarian online.  Use Bookflix and Tumblebooks to have books read to your young child.  Use Homework Help Now for help with schoolwork or your resume.  Use RB Digital to read magazines.

Don’t have a library card?  Just email your name, address, phone number, and birthday to and Delco Libraries will email you back a barcode that you can use to access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and all of our other online resources!
