Saturday, May 19th will be a big BINGO event at the Aston Public Library from 6:00PM to 9PM. The doors will open at 5PM and admission is only $25! All cash prizes. There will also be special games, food, and bingo supplies sold.

Performer Stephen Lee Rich presents “It’s All Vaudeville” Monday, May 21st at 11:30 am at the Library. Learn about and enjoy music from yesteryear. Mr. Rich has almost 50 years of experience as a musician.

We are holding a Coloring Contest for our young patrons! Kids of all ages are eligible. An entry form can be obtained at the Library or at on the web. Just bring your child’s entry (with the child’s information on the back) to the library’s service desk by June 1st to be considered.

Thursday, May 17th at 6:30PM, Aston Public Library will be visited by the Wallaby Tales Traveling Zoo. They will present an educational, comical and entertaining program for kids of all ages. Come see at least 5 unusual animals and learn about their habitats and food sources. This is where animals, education, and fun collide!

Your child can get a preview of the exciting events and fun coming in this year’s summer reading program “Libraries Rock”! Visit our “Preview Party” on Thursday May 31st at 6:30PM for food, games and information!

We are hosting a “Walk With Ease” program sponsored by COSA through May 23rd. The program is Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10:30 am to 12:00 pm . This is an evidence based program designed to change fitness habits and proven to reduce the pain of arthritis by increasing balance, strength , walking pace and confidence.

Kids 8 & up can learn to play chess at the Aston Public Library!! Every Tuesday at 6:00 pm., starting April 10th. Join Mr Ed Finn as he teaches you the game of chess. Seating is limited…Register now!

The Kids Can Build Club is at the Library on Tuesdays at 4PM ! Your child can learn to build things using the library’s Lego collection and other materials as well! All ages are welcome.

3D Printing Services Available! Ask Debbie or Stephen at the desk to find out how you can get your first small 3D printed item for free! Check out the designs the staff have made for ideas. They are on display in our display case!

Are you looking for a book club? There are several options at our library! The group meeting on Thursday the 10th at 1:30PM is discussing ” Blessings “. The group meeting on Wednesday the 16th at 7PM is discussing ” Reliable Wife “. Stop by and try one out!

Storytime! Your young child can learn basic literacy skills while having fun! The Aston Public Library offers story times every week, open to everyone! Join Ms. Debbie for toddler time (ages 2-3) on Tuesdays at 10:30, infant time (up to 24 months) on Wednesdays at 10:30, and preschool time (ages 3-5) on Thursdays at 10:30!

Stop by Tuesdays at 11AM to learn the art of Crochet with our diverse group with many levels of experience. Stop by Thursdays at 6PM to participate in a wide variety of crafts with an even more diverse group.

Need help with an e-book reader, laptop or tablet computer? Stop by for our drop-in help time on Friday mornings. 10AM is the time for ebook readers. 11AM is the time for laptops and tablets.
