State budget cuts would damage library services

The Pennsylvania state legislatures are considering a budget cut that would cut library support by 50%.   This would result in deep cuts to the services we can provide.

    Thanks so much to everyone for contacting the legislators!

    The final budget cuts our state funding by nearly 27% overall, which could mean a cut of more than $20,000 for the Aston Library. We’ll have to make some painful cuts, though not as painful as they might have been.
