Summer Science Returns!

Summer Science with Ms. Jasmine returns – join us for a day of experiments featuring energy, reactions, motion & more! This program is for young scientists entering grades 2 – 6. 

Registration is REQUIRED due to limited space & supplies. Each session will be the same, so please only register for one.

Children’s Summer Reading program starts June 17th!

Summer Reading kicks off at the Aston Public Library on June 17. Stop by the front desk for a reading log – kids can color in each day they read for 10 minutes or more & turn in at the front desk for a prize each week.

“Safari Party” Wednesday the 27th!

The Library is hosting a Safari Party where your child will meet exotic animals! The free event will be Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30PM. Your child can learn about the wonders of the animal kingdom close up! Fun for all ages! Entertaining and educational!

Kids’ Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt

We have a new scavenger game for January- “Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt.” There are 15 chocolate frog cards of Harry Potter characters around the library. The sheet gives a clue where to find each character.  Complete the page to win a prize!

FREE Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms concert on Wednesday the 21st!

The Aston Public Library will be hosting a FREE Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms concert on Wednesday, December 21st at 6:30PM.

Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms needs no introduction to the sippy-cup crowd! This multi-award winning group of talented teachers/performers has attained household name status among children and their parents for their popular classes, camps and performances. This show will feature an infectious mix of folk/pop family music that develops a rapport with the audience and encourages the whole family to sing and dance along! This is a FREE show for pre-school fans of fun, laughter and music.

Segal Puppets show coming to the library!

Wednesday, November 16 at 6:30 PM, Dave from Segal Puppets will entertain the kids with 40 minutes of unforgettable interactive surprises perfect for preschoolers and families alike. This will be an all-new show!  Bring your child to this free program!

Halloween Safety Magic show with Ed Schmitt coming!

Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30 PM, The Aston Public Library will host a special Halloween Safety Magic show with Ed Schmitt!

Ed Schmitt is an Awarding Winning Children’s magician from the Delaware Valley. His Halloween Magic Show is designed for Boys and Ghouls of all ages. His show will teach the kids important parts of Halloween safety while giving them a good time. The show uses Music, Magic, Comedy, Live Animals and Lots of Audience Participation to create an enjoyable experience for the whole family. No registration required.
