Unfortunately, we are no longer able to subscribe to Book Page due to the cuts in our budget. The subscription cost $432 per year for the library to maintain, and due to the loss of more than $22,000 in state aid, we have been forced to cut our budget for materials like this by more than half. Join a group to help the Aston Public Library keep going! The Friends of the Aston Public Library are holding their first organizational meeting on Wednesday, May 12th at 7PM at the library. Officers will be elected and dues established.

Science in the Summer is coming to the Aston Public Library again this year! The theme this time will be Chemistry. Science in the Summer is a free science education program that helps elementary school children “grow into science.” The program will be July 12-15 with both morning and afternoon options.
Come to the library to apply! The deadline is May 29. Places will be decided by lottery if there are more kids than spots.
There are two age groups: those entering Grades 2 and 3 (Level I) and those entering Grades 4-6 (Level II).
