The Aston Public Library Board of Trustees’ December meeting will be held at a special location – 51 Old Pennell Road Media, PA 19063 . The meeting will be at 7PM on Tuesday December 21st, 2010.
Get information about the changes to your power bill!
On Wednesday, December 15th, 2010 at 6pm, PECO Energy staff will visit the Aston Library to answer your questions about the coming changes to you electrical power bill and options.
In addition to performing energy audits and information on the Choice Program, low-cost or no-cost tips on how to reduce energy bills and help save the environment will be discussed.
Just come to the Library meeting room!

Mango Day!
Wednesday, December 1 is Mango Day, celebrating the Mango for Languages service available to library cardholders. Stop by our library to get information about the service, and enjoy some of the refreshments while you are here!
Mango Languages is an online, interactive language teaching system. Twenty-two foreign-language and 15 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are included in the system.

Be Our Volunteer Cleaner!
Help keep the Aston Public Library neat and clean!
We provide books and toys for infants and children, computers for researchers and gamers, plus leisure reading fare for adults and teens. With all of that activity, the Library gets a little rough around the edges.
If you would like to help keep OUR Library welcoming and clean, then we would welcome you to join us! From dusting and vacuuming to windows and disinfecting, we have something that needs your TLC.
Requirements:
1. Be able to commit at least 5 hours a week, and do a basic training
2. Professional and friendly demeanor
3. Attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently
5. Be an adult or teen age 15 years old and older with parental permission
