National Library Week!
The Aston Public Library is celebrating National Library Week from April 15 – 20, 2013. This year’s theme is Communities Matter @ your library. In tandem with PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries, an initiative of the Pennsylvania Library Association, National Library Week highlights the unique role libraries play in people’s lives. Stop by during the week, and catch a glimpse of all the things you can do @ the library – 3270 Concord Road (in the Community Center building) and www.astonlibrary.org. We are open 10-8 Monday through Thursday and 10-5 Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday.

Thursday Storytime is Back!
By popular demand, the Aston Public Library will be offering storytimes again on Thursdays at 10:30AM starting next week! Tuesdays at 10:30AM will also continue to be a storytime. You can choose your time an register your child today at http://www.tinyurl.com/astonkidsevents ! Storytimes can include music, stories, and coloring pages, depending on the theme for the week. Recommended for ages 2-6!

Book Cover Design/Re-Design Contest!
Answer the question “When you read a book, what do you see?” by drawing, collaging, photographing or creating a new cover of your favorite book, or of a book you will one day write! Pick up your entry form (with complete rules) at the library service desk! The Book Cover Design/Re-Design contest runs through June 1 and all ages may enter! Winners of the contest will have their entries displayed at the Library.
