Learn about Sustainability for Your Home and Garden!
Join us at the Library on
Thursday, April 20th at 6:00 pm !
Local Ecological Garden Designer, Jason Butsch of Arrowhead Gardens, will team up with Solar City to offer a FREE presentation on sustainability for the home and garden.
The program will feature practical tips on garden design, composting, control and removal of invasive plants, gardening for pollinators and wildlife, and selection of site-appropriate native plant species. The program will also offer tips on landscaping for home energy-efficiency and segue into a discussion of the many benefits of solar energy for homeowners, and the ins and outs of solar panel installation.
