You and your child can join in a special event and help set a record at the Aston Library! At 10:30AM on October 5th and 7th (Tuesday and Thursday), you can join in a reading of Ezra Jack Keats’ The Snowy Day with storyteller Ms. Joanne. All are welcome at the event. Be Our Volunteer Hold Caller!

Do you have a friendly voice? We have a job for you.
Dozens of people every week request books from other area libraries. When the books arrive at the Aston Public Library, someone needs to contact the patrons and let them know.
You can be the person who unites a patron with a book.
Requirements:
1. Be able to commit at least 5 hours a week, and do a basic training
2. Be able to work between the hours of 2 and 5PM each day
3. Professional and friendly phone demeanor
4. Attention to detail
5. Ability to work independently
6. Be an adult or teen age 15 years old and older with parental permission

Pretzel Program for Kids!

Enjoy a twisted time for the whole family! Aston Library storyteller Ms. Joanne and John Howe, owner of Aston Pretzel Boys will put on a program Tuesday, September 28th at 6:30PM with music, jokes, games and songs, along with a demonstration of how pretzels are made. Appropriate for kids 3-10 and their parents. There will be free refreshments at the end!
